Integrated energy efficiency
Daylight, insulation, active ETFE cavities, air treatment, heat recovery and renewable energy are coordinated to reduce demand according to each project.
Advantages of our climate domes
Archvantis brings the envelope, structure, climate, energy and interior layout together through one design approach. The configuration can range from transparent to opaque and be adapted to the site, use, crops and target level of performance.
Daylight, insulation, active ETFE cavities, air treatment, heat recovery and renewable energy are coordinated to reduce demand according to each project.
The facade can combine transparent, hybrid or opaque surfaces. The three-membrane envelope forms two air cavities, while the arches can be selected to suit your constraints and made of glulam, aluminium, steel or fibreglass.
For an east-west-oriented passive solar greenhouse, an opaque, highly insulated north facade can reduce heat loss and accommodate required equipment, service access or technical spaces.
Fixed or mobile aluminium or stainless-steel tables, one or more cultivation levels, optional ventilation, and multispectral, intra-canopy or under-canopy LED lighting can be configured to suit the program.
Air and climate, energy loops, energy production and recovery, irrigation, fertigation, sensors, automation and data are selected and validated as parts of one coordinated system.
